Grief is the natural reaction to loss, and can be both a universal and a personal experience. The biggest misconception about grief is that it is resulting from a death of someone close to you. People can experience grief as a result of a job loss, the end of a romantic relationship or friendship, receiving a diagnosis of a life-altering or life-threatening illness, or a loss of a pet. Regardless of the situation, grief can involve overwhelming emotions, including sadness, depression, anxiety, anger, shock, denial, loneliness, and despair.
The Grief to Gratitude Retreat strives to help individuals struggling to cope with loss, by providing them with a safe and supportive environment to process their emotions, gain insights into their grief, and develop coping strategies for moving forward in their healing journey. Participants have the opportunity to connect with others who are experiencing similar emotions and challenges by fostering a sense of community and understanding.
